Cameron Spear-Balka

After seven years in Kingston Ontario attending Queen’s University, obtaining both a Bachelor of Arts (with honours) and a law degree, Cameron Spear-Balka returned to his hometown of Oshawa, Ontario to practice criminal defence.

Cameron has worked as counsel on a variety of matters in both the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice. He has conducted trials and secured acquittals on matters in the Ontario Court of Justice involving allegations of assault, impaired operation, theft, and robbery, among others. He has also worked as co-counsel on matters involving allegations of homicide.

Additionally, Cameron has also conducted a number of bail hearings and bail reviews and secured release for accused at all levels of court, including the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
